Born Marlon Christopher Sean Cruz in Toronto, Canada to Filipino parents, and raised in the town of Scarborough, he had begun writing poetry and reciting rhymes as a child. He has continued to evolve and this is truly evident in his passion for creating music. Music inspired through his years of reflection and imagination. Music which is created with vivid images about personal experiences inspired by the world around him, as well as all of the hardship he has endured. His desire to write music becomes the outlet to express this. He will never put the pen and pad down.
In his own words, Cruz states “Being born with talent is one thing, but it is the art form that one should develop to consume the masses, not just within a certain genre.” He firmly believes that everyone has the potential to become the greatness they dream of. Greatness, he puts simply in his humble tone, It is attainable.
